ESL Lesson Transcriber for Windows
OTC Pro Transcriber is the ESL lesson transcriber for Windows. It records what you hear from a student in an online class and turns that audio into a transcript on your own computer. The lesson is not uploaded.
Online teachers use it when they want the student's words in front of them during or after a Zoom, Meet, or ClassIn lesson. It is built for Windows 10 and Windows 11. It is not a Mac app and it is not a Chromebook app.

How the download works
Join OTC Member or OTC Pro, then open the transcriber card on your dashboard and copy the password. Come back to this page, choose Download, and enter that password. The installer is a zip for Windows. If Python is not installed, the steps in the download dialog say to install Python 3.11 from python.org and tick Add python.exe to PATH, extract the zip, then double-click Install and open. Do not run the app from inside the zip window, and do not choose Run as administrator.
Member and Pro both include this app. Big ESL Drive, screen-share games, and Cornelius' beginner course are part of Member. The digital classroom, booking, and teacher website are part of OTC Pro. Compare them on the pricing page or the Member page.
